Where to Install Your Security bars

Depending on what type of bars you choose and the type of windows you have, you may be able to install security bars on the inside or outside of the frame. If you can install the bars on the inside of the frame, you can secure all types of windows.

If you’re installing the bars on the outside of the frame, you can secure double-hung or single-hung windows. If you’re installing security bars on the inside of the frame, you can secure any type of window in your home. If you’re installing security bars on the outside of the frame, you can secure double-hung or single-hung windows on the ground floor. If you’re living on the second floor or higher, you can secure double-hung or single-hung windows on the outside of the frame.
